This distinguished Parbold landmark, long recognised for its architectural and historic importance, has undergone a comprehensive transformation, a project delivered with the discipline, accuracy, and craftsmanship that define Maytree Construction. What now stands on Lancaster Lane is not simply a restored residence, but a complete re‑imagining of a heritage property, executed with a level of detail that reflects both respect for its origins and confidence in modern construction standards.

Set across five floors and positioned within private grounds in the Lancaster Lane Conservation Area, the building presented a rare combination of complexity and opportunity. Maytree’s involvement centred on a full structural and interior renewal, addressing decades of ageing while preserving the defining characteristics that make the property a local landmark. Every stage of the project demanded careful coordination: heritage‑sensitive demolition, reinforcement of original structural elements, installation of modern systems, and the integration of contemporary design features without compromising the building’s historic identity.

The interior now showcases a masterful blend of classic detailing and modern refinement. Traditional architectural lines have been retained and enhanced, while contemporary materials, lighting, and spatial planning introduce a new level of comfort and functionality. Each floor has been re‑worked to maximise natural flow, improve structural integrity, and elevate the overall aesthetic. From bespoke joinery to precision‑installed finishes, the craftsmanship throughout reflects Maytree’s commitment to quality and longevity.

Externally, the property benefits from careful conservation‑area compliance, ensuring that all visible works align with the character of the surrounding landscape. Private grounds have been restored and re‑structured to complement the building’s new form, creating a cohesive environment that feels both historic and newly revitalised.

The result is a landmark residence that stands as a benchmark for heritage transformation, a demonstration of how traditional architecture and modern living can be brought together with absolute accuracy. For Maytree Construction, the project represents a showcase of capability: a complex, multi‑level restoration delivered with precision, sensitivity, and a clear respect for the building’s past.
